Plot Synopsis
Follows the transformation of Stanley ''Tookie'' Williams cofounder of the Crips street gang who sits on San Quentin's death row for the 1979 murder of four people. He eventually meets journalist Barbara Becnel who gets him involved in writing children's books that educate kids on the danger of gangs. His books led to his being nominated four times for a Nobel Peace Prize and three times for a Noble Prize in Literature.
