Plot Synopsis
Based on the short story by O. Henry. In 1899, two goofball hoboes, who are pitifully broke, concoct a scheme to kidnap the the 9-year-old son of a wealthy local banker and hold him for ransom. The plan goes awry when the lad, who insists that he's the great warrior Red Chief, begins driving them crazy with his nonstop talking and stupid pranks. To make matters worse the boy's father doesn't want him back!
