Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Elizabeth Berg. A full-time Oregon housewife and mom, finds her life in crisis when her beloved architect husband takes a fall and winds up in a deep coma. She refuses to give up the hope that someday he will wake up. With the help of her best friend she finds the courage to keep her family strong while waiting for him to respond. With all of her financial and emotional resources nearly exhausted she almost loses faith-- but miraculously her spouse comes out of the coma and resumes life with his forever changed family.
