Plot Synopsis
In 1850 North Carolina, four black slaves are helped by abolitionists as they run away from their plantation to Canada. But because of the Fugitive Slave Act, they are hunted by bounty hunters. In constant danger from the unknown wilderness, their journey is fraught will peril and death. With the dedicated guidance from the Underground Railroad, many survive their journey to freedom.
