Plot Synopsis

Katie Holllingston is a sweet, smart and beautiful young woman, who just happens to be the adored royal princess of the tiny country of Montsaurai. A talented artist, she is so swamped by obligations and ceremonial duties that she feels trapped. She remembers with fondness her Christmastime outings with her mother in America, and when she winds up in their old haunts, she is determined to relive the past. She gives her overbearing aunt and bodyguards the slip, hoping to disappear for a while and get a taste of freedom. But when she meets handsome renovation expert Jack Langley, she gets a taste of romance as well. They both fall hard for each other and, while a frantic hunt for her is underway, she tries to summon the nerve to tell Jack who she really is. It's a revelation that temporarily stalls their fledgling romance, but love may triumph after all... just in time for a joyous Christmas.
