Plot Synopsis

It's Christmas Eve, and "Wake Up Milwaukee" producer Kelly Leone works late, showing up to her friends' Christmas party long after it's over. At the annual New Year's Eve dinner with her friends, she promises to be a more "present" friend in the new year and even agrees to say yes to all social invitations. At the next table over, bank marketing executive Tom Malone and his friends talk resolutions as well. The two tables join in conversation and Tom and Kelly flirt. Kelly declines Tom's invitation to continue the evening with his friends, jots down her number and puts it in his coat pocket. During the month she really goes outside her comfort zone and participates in all kinds of activities and events she would normally decline. The one thing she never counted on, however, is the possibility of falling in love with the charismatic Tom.
