Plot Synopsis

The wife of a cop dreams of sending her daughter to college, but when he is killed in the line of duty, just short of his pension, she realizes there won't be enough money. While still grieving she discovers that her husband died in the arms of another woman, a hostess of a ''social club'' frequented by members of the department. She teams up with the mistress to uncover a web of high-level police corruption and then uses this evidence in an effort to get the deserved increase in her husband's pension.
