Plot Synopsis
The parents of murdered gay student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming anguish over their son's death as they deliberate whether to recommend the death penalty for thier son's killer. They recall the young man's life; his struggle with his sexuality and new found acceptance at the U. of Wyoming. His tragic death force his parents to confront their own anger and compassion and eventually ask for the court's clemency so that the killers can live in honor of their son.
