Plot Synopsis

Soldier of fortune McCall is hired to lead a team of researchers into the jungle once occupied by the now vanished Yamballi tribe to retrieve a famous Spanish treasure, the Quayin Dagger. Amongst his team is an anthropologist and an archaeologist. In the jungle, the team discovers an ancient burial ground with a grave containing the skeletal remains of a Spanish conquistador with the Quayin Dagger through its chest. When they make the mistake of removing the dagger, the jungle's vines and roots come to animated life creating the monstrous Mandrake. The team must run for their lives and figure out a way to stop this raging beast all the while avoiding the angry Yamballi tribe.
