Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Margaretha Shemin. During WWII an American girl visiting her Dutch grandparents in a small village finds herself trapped when the Nazis occupy the town. The commander of the German troops decides to melt down The Little Riders, six detailed metal statues of 17th century Dutch heroes that revolve hourly around a clock tower. The local resistance fighters, led by the young girl's grandfather, who is also the clock caretaker, forge a daring plan to rescue the treasured heirlooms.
