Plot Synopsis
A single, hard working mother of a blind, autistic ''musical savant'' dedicates her life to helping her son overcome his handicaps while fostering his talent on the piano. When he is accepted into a Boston music school she leaves Texas to make sure he is cared for properly. As her son develops emotionally and professionally she soon realizes that she must let the young man begin to live his own life.
