Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by L.A. Rentschler. A commitment shy dentist reluctantly says ''yes'' when her veterinarian boyfriend proposes marriage. Her meddlesome mother takes over the wedding plans. As the date gets nearer, the nervous bride gets cold feet. Fearing she will lose her own identity, she breaks off the engagement. She soon realizes she has made a terrible mistake and desperately tries to win her fiancee back. The couple eventually marry and live happily ever after.
