Plot Synopsis
The 18 year old daughter of a loving but controlling homicide detective falls in love with and marries a charming and romantic building contractor. He soon becomes violent and sadistic. Unable to withstand anymore abuse she finally shoots him dead. While on trial for murder, her father comes to terms with his own shortcomings and is devastated that he failed to see that his child was suffering. The jury is sympathetic to her situation and finds her not guilty.
