Plot Synopsis

Prudence McCoy, a humorous, Martha Stewart-like advice columnist and TV personality, escapes to a much-needed vacation from her work-driven life. While staying at a Wyoming guest lodge her late mother frequented she becomes embroiled in a murder mystery when the lodge owner's son turns up dead of an apparent suicide. Suspecting foul play, she sets out to discern the truth by using her homespun problem solvers and help from a colleague, a genius scientist. In doing so, she gains a better understanding of the mother she wasn't close to in her youth, and takes her first steps toward finding a balanced life that includes true love.
