Plot Synopsis
Inquisitive Pulitzer Prize -winning '' Miami Herald'' crime reporter Edna Buchanan whose knack for solving crimes leads her to help an emotional father find his missing eighteen year old daughter. After making a grievous mistake in judgment which leads to the death of the girl and the suicide of the father, Buchanan is thrown into a period of self-examination.
