Plot Synopsis

A pompous Hollywood composer whose talent dried up years ago, enlist his brilliant protege to ghostwrite his film scores, promising that he'll further his career in return. But when the devious tunesmith never makes good on his promise and the possibility that he will be exposed... he arranges an ''accident'' that silences his apprentice forever. Rumpled dectecitve Columbo soon arrives to uncover the truth.
