Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel ''Flight of the Reindeer'' by Robert Sullivan. A respected zoology professor is obsessed with proving that reindeer can fly-- because he believes that, as a boy, he was saved from a fall by a rocketing Rudolph. Neglecting his wife and daughter he takes off for the North Pole to verify his theory. His plane crashes and he is soon rescued by an elf who takes him to see jolly old Santa where he discovers the true meaning of faith, family and Christmas.
