Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel ''The Dog Hermit'' by David Stout. A nine year old boy is kidnapped and taken into the Washington State wilderness. He is rescued by a tortured hermit, who is haunted by memories of the death of his own son, but the boy is soon snatched away again . While the FBI,the police and the child's single mother try to find the boy, the misunderstood loner uncovers a plot by a local cop who planned the abduction in order to get the ransom money.
