Plot Synopsis

The prequel film to USA Network series,"Burn Notice." In 2005, Navy Seal Lieutenant Commander Sam Axe finds himself exiled to a rural mountain area in Columbia, South America after his boss, the Admiral, discovers he slept with his wife. His job is to advise a local military platoon who are under attack by insurgents. He soon discovers these so-called rebels are local goat farmers being used as pawns by corrupt officials to gain U.S. military aide /money. Realizing he is allied with the wrong side, he joins the rag-tag "terrorists" to help them expose the government deception and save them from being killed. His heroic efforts land him in hot water with the Admiral, who wants him court-martialed for treason. But crafty Sam has a way of making the brass come around to his way of thinking.
