Plot Synopsis
Based on the 1970's play. Nine Chicago baseball fans spend their lives at the ballpark where they root for the Chicago Bruins, a team that hasn't won a pennant in eons. It's a beautiful summer day and the woeful Bruins are playing their dreaded rivals the St. Louis Eagles. The motley crew watch the game as they banter and bellyache in the bleachers until a rain delay reveals their inner lives.
