Plot Synopsis

Hundreds of alien fighter jets swarm out of a gargantuan mothership hovering over downtown Los Angeles. With superior weaponry, the alien craft bat away wave after wave of human fighter jets. Along with pulse blasters, the alien ships use cannons to fire metallic pods into the ground around the human tanks and infantry. The pods "hatch" into 12-foot tall attack robots equipped with grenade launchers and laser guns. An Air National Guardsman and his group of "weekend warriors" join forces with a clandestine commando team, the Majestic 12, and soon become the first line of defense in an epic battle to destroy the mothership and stop the alien invasion.
