Plot Synopsis

Debbie Freeman, a single psychologist in her forties is desperate to adopt a baby. Through a classified ad she unknowing becomes the pawn of opportunists who agree to give up their yet unborn baby when she agrees to pay all their living expenses. When the drifters take off she uncovers their scam which had them stringing along and extorting money from numerous couples around the country. Working with the police she eventually brings them to justice.
