Plot Synopsis

Brainy college science student Cassie lives a life as the ugly duckling with aspirations to join the cheer squad, but mean-girl cheer captain Brittany will not allow her team to be cursed with her homely presence. Cassie turns to her friend and lab partner, Kyle, for comfort. They are on the brink of success on a cosmetic drug called ReNew that turns ugly into beautiful. After she gets humiliated while pledging for a sorority, she sneaks into the lab and injects herself with ReNew. The next morning, she awakens to find herself a gorgeous babe and notices men now looking her way. Her new looks and accelerated athletic ability nab her a spot on the cheer squad. Unfortunately, ReNew has one adverse side effect: massive growth. Brittany soon becomes jealous of Cassie's draw of attention and steals multiple vials of ReNew to inject herself. On homecoming day both giant-sized cheerleaders converge on the football field, in a climactic battle to prove who is the greatest cheerleader off all. This movie was EPIX first original picture and Roger Coman's first venture into 3D.
