Plot Synopsis
On October 6,1998 Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old gay college student, was brutally murdered in a small Wyoming town by two hateful homophobic men--Aaron Mickinney and Russell Henderson. Despite there pleas that the beating was not a hate crime, the court found them both guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
