Plot Synopsis
Human detective Sikes, and his alien, Newcomer partner sift through the evidence of two apparently unrelated violent crimes committed by Newcomers with previously clean records. A similarity emerges in the investigation: a link to the Udara, a secret cadre of alien freedom fighters who had engaged in guerilla-warfare tactics against the slave ships cruel overseers and who were thought to have disbanded.
