Plot Synopsis
Based on the book. Aging Mafia chieftain, who rules his criminal empire from a Long Island estate, struggles to ensure his family's continuing significance as mob influence wanes in the 1970's and '80s. Feuds against rival crime gangs, political intrigue, Las Vegas and Hollywood manipulations, sociopathic hitmen and contentious offspring help weaken the once powerful Mafia dynasty.
