Plot Synopsis
Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by David McCullough. This epic miniseries spans fifty years in the life of John Adams, lawyer, patriot, first minister to the Netherlands and England, the first American Vice President and second American President. As he struggled to find the balance between is love for his perceptive wife, Abigail, his passion for his country and his own ambitions he helped build a new nation with his tireless dedication, impassioned oratory and unwavering convictions.
