Plot Synopsis

In the 5th century Attila unites the Huns, a loose federation of barbarian tribes, into a powerful empire. Roman general Flavius Aetius takes the young warrior under his wing, hoping to establish a friendship that will turn the Huns into allies of Rome. Although tempted by a Roman princess he knows his destiny lies with his own people and eventually leads them into war against the Roman Empire at the Battle of the Chalons.
